Making new, cherishing the old..
Currently I'm having a 'study' week.. It's finals next week but still; I don't have the jitters.. I wonder why?! Maybe it's the feeling of being around with my besties and meeting new pals, going out non-stop and chatting till the wee hours everyday. But no matter what, the end is; finals are coming and It's time to get down to business!!

Skipping Meetings; Enjoying Food and Lotsa Rest
The third day in UTM was really an amazing one. Well, the day started like this;
Early in the morning, my friend, Aizat's room was invaded by an old uncle whom was Block C's maintainence man. He scolded Aizat about Aizat's 2500W Portable Air-Conditioner. Unfortunately, the air-cond that was supposed to be Aizat's precious asset in UTM was taken away from him (fr good). He was in a very unstable mood (PMS-ing in the morning). But my Farhan's uncle; Pak Ngah brought Farhan, AreYie and Aizat to Petaling Street to shop. I WAS ASLEEP!. Pak Ngah bought for AreYie a pair of Levi's and since Mr.Aizat couldn't get his size, Pak Ngah gave him some money to spend (murah rezeki ya).
In the night, Mr.Aizat Hisham brought us to a restaurant nearby to Gombak (Restaurant Kunang-Kunang) in Taman Melati. Since my girlfriend, Pamela was invited, I had to fetch her all the way from Chera
s. Wow! it was freaking jammed and my petrol was flowing out like an open tap of water. We had to skip the JKM meeting as the food in RKK (Restaurant Kunang-Kunang) was so tempting. Mr. Perantau Semalu Gagah (Naqiuddin) then came with his European spec BMW (something 638). Since it was a 'so called' tradition, Mr.Aizat Hisham was a very nice brother to spend us all. Hahahahaha... The bill came up to nearly a hundred bucks. ;) Thanks BOB!

Then we sent Pam back to her apartment. I got the chance to drive Mr. PSG (Perantau Semalu Gagah's) car. Unfortunately, it wasnt enough to overtake Mr.Bob's Myvi or 'so called' ferrari. All of us went up to her apartment to relax for a while. Bob had some honey to drink as his throat felt kinda itchy. We then listened to Pam play a song "Can you feel the love tonight" on her digital piano.
After all of that, we came back to the hostel but sad to say, meeting was OVER!. My director was a bit pissed off but we managed to cool him down because Mr.Bob was a good mood cooler.
It was a happy day, and bonds were strengthen. ;) I love all my friends. 1Malaysia!

Working Hard; Enjoying Maximum
For 1 week i was called back to my universiti to handle a program called "UTM-KSJ-1Malaysia CampIn Sahabat". This program is targeted to Form3 to Form5 from various schools around KL and 1 school in Seremban. It's gonna be a 3D/2N camp and will be held from the 16th till 18th July.
Back to my hostel was a whole new thing for me because i was a senior and am currently in 2nd Year. Now i gotta watch my actions and my words because juniors will be looking up to me. :) Smile always and laugh when necessary.
The first day in hostel was damn tiring as i carried my stuff from the ground floor all the way to the 3rd floor. And to add to the agony of carrying the heavy stuff; my car keys fell into a 2 metre deep drain. At that time, i had no phones with me, my car was locked and i had some expensive subwoofers outside my car. I had to be a jungle man like Kelvin Mun and jump into that deep drain to retrieve my car keys. That was F-in hard and additional to that; my weight is about 90kgs.. Fuhhh! what a tiring day....
The second day; i followed my good friend, Mr.Aizat Hisham to go to an opening ceremony of a new Bistro in Kem Kementah (which is a military camp). There i saw Colonels, Majors and Generals. Afterwards, i followed Aizat and his aunt, Aunt Marina to visit a Datin's house. I got to eat an authentic Nasi Dagang in her house. I used my fingers instead of fork and spoon because the Datin's daughter said that the Nasi Dagang would taste better if eaten the Malaysian style. Upon leaving; Aizat whispered in my ears that the house i just visited was the house of the Vice Chancellor of UPNM and former Panglima Angkatan Bersama (a very highly respected General in the Malaysian Military). Then, we went to Hospital Ampang because we had to visit an Uncle of Aizat and Aunt Marina spend us McFlurry at Mc.D's. Then, we went to Park Royal in the heart of KL because Aizat had 'business' to settle. After the 'business' we drove to SMK Aminuddin Baki to fetch Aizat's cousin sister, Nurin which is amazingly good in English. After sending her back to her house in Ampang, we then drove to a 'kuih' stall nearby our Hostel to order 'kuih' for our program because we couldnt find anyone else that sold 'kuih' as cheap as her; 4 'kuih' for RM1. Damn cheap rite! (Even Seremban doesnt have that kinda bargain..). Then in the night, i brought Aizat and Areyie to a Sate Kajang stall in Taman Melati to have awesome sate and i spend them because it was Aizat's belated birthday and since he was a good friend, i HAD to spend him.. ;)
PS: everynight there was a meeting in the JKM room till the wee hours.

Life's a Brief Candle
This is a poem I would like to dedicate to all my friends.
Life's Brief Candle
To-morrow, and to-morrow, and to-morrow,
Creeps in this petty pace from day to day
To the last syllable of recorded time,
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools
The way to dusty death.
Out, out, brief candle!
Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more: it is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.
Last Monday (10th May 2010), I lost a very dear friend. He was a classmate, a friend, a mentor and a brother. He was diagnosed with a blood disease, leukemia just before his major examinations( The Malaysian Certificate of Education , SPM) in the year 2008. He fought the battle against leukemia and he was at the road of full recovery when the disease hit him again.
During his school days, he was a fantastic friend with his weird point-of-views. He was a quite and yet smart student. Throughout 2 years (2007 and 2008), i was sitting next to him in class, and every morning we would fight over small matters. Example; politics, education systems, cars, books, and even girls. He would always (and I mean ALWAYS) ask the question "Why this?; Why that?". And it would often end up in a fight between me and him. After recess, i would try to go and hug him to say sorry but he would push me away and try to slap me for being so homosexual (not that I am). Whenever I was misunderstood by friends in the class, he was there for me to give me advise. One advise that till now still rings in my mind is, " Don't care what people gossip about you, believe in yourself and do the right thing". It had opened my mind to a whole new world now.
One day, he fought with my English teacher. The incident started like this. It was essay writing time in English class and my belated friend took a quick nap before started writing his essay. The teacher walked to his table (which was beside mine) and knock on this table and asked " Poon! Why are u sleeping during my class?". He answered her back, "Teacher! I was just taking a short nap, don't worry! I'll have your essay by the end of the class". Wow! that was the boldest reply I have ever heard from a brilliant and quite student.
He always had his own point-of-views in life. He said sex wasn't for pleasure but when you're having sex, think of it's purpose ONLY; that is to have a baby. I often commented to teachers about his weird attitude. "Normal humans touch their nose the easy way, but for him; he touches his nose going around his head(the hard way)".
He was a Buddhist but he often reads books about other religions. He wanted to broaden his understanding of the world and learn about people and their behaviour. He was a leader and never a follower.
--> When i received a phone call on Monday morning telling me that my dear friend has passed on; tears rolled down my cheek. I expected good news telling me that he had recovered fully from his blood disease. No doubt he had left us to be in a better place, but the memories I had with him, the arguments, the ups and downs; I shall never ever forget. Wherever you are Dikky Poon! I miss you and will always remember you. Have a safe journey!.

"Time is Gold"
An organized person needs a daily schedule to keep track of what he/she is going to do and have done already. Time can be managed wisely and there will be no time wasting. "Time is Gold" as what mom and dad used to say. Okay! How to make a daily schedule? *You don't need fancy equipment or a high-tech PDA to create a daily schedule. You just need a Pen & Paper.*
- Start out by listing the things you think u can accomplish on that particular day/period of time.
- Then, put a '*' on those things which are important so that you will know which to do first.
- Paste that piece of paper somewhere you can see it clearly (not at the back of your cupboard door).
- For each task that you managed to accomplish, put a big tick on the task (it'll be better using a Red marker)
- When you're done with all your errands. You'll notice that your day wasn't wasted and you will feel satisfied and contented.

The Little Basket & Colors


Decorating your room is essential as it provides you a suitable environment to study. Put mirrors in your room (if you want your room to look bigger). Always keep a bookshelf in your room as it shows that you 'study'. A nice hi-fi set and LCD TV would give you an extra 'ummpph' in your bedroom. Put your stuff in accordance to their importance in your daily life. Have a study table in your room and make sure it's tidy too. Try to keep a filing system as you would be more organized. Remember! you should have colors that coordinate in your room to give you a good feeling.

A numerical trick!
Well, I just came back from a program in Langkawi; I learnt a new trick using numbers from a guy, 'Pak Teh'. This trick is easy; just follow up -->
Enjoy!
- Ask for a 5 digit number of any sequence (eg. 12345)
- Add the 5 digits together (eg. 1+2+3+4+5 = 15)
- Minus the Sum Of The 5 Digits from the Original 5 Digit Number (eg. 12345 - 15 = 12330)
- You would have obtain a new set of 5 digit number sequence.
- Ask for 4 of the digits in any sequence. (eg. 2330) and you would guess the digit he/she did not tell u.
- Add the given 4 digits (2+3+3+0 = 8)
- Then minus that sum with either 9 or 18 or 38 (multiple of 9)
- And therefore the answer is the value remaining of that subtraction.
- If you get a 0 or 9 as the sum. Ask the person whether the number is between 0 -5 or 6-9.
- If it is between 0-5, then the answer is 0, if not, vice versa.
