A numerical trick!

Well, I just came back from a program in Langkawi; I learnt a new trick using numbers from a guy, 'Pak Teh'. This trick is easy; just follow up -->

  1. Ask for a 5 digit number of any sequence (eg. 12345)
  2. Add the 5 digits together (eg. 1+2+3+4+5 = 15)
  3. Minus the Sum Of The 5 Digits from the Original 5 Digit Number (eg. 12345 - 15 = 12330)
  4. You would have obtain a new set of 5 digit number sequence.
  5. Ask for 4 of the digits in any sequence. (eg. 2330) and you would guess the digit he/she did not tell u.
  6. Add the given 4 digits (2+3+3+0 = 8)
  7. Then minus that sum with either 9 or 18 or 38 (multiple of 9)
  8. And therefore the answer is the value remaining of that subtraction.
  9. If you get a 0 or 9 as the sum. Ask the person whether the number is between 0 -5 or 6-9.
  10. If it is between 0-5, then the answer is 0, if not, vice versa.

Enjoy!
